Fog Causes Traffic Accident on Pattoki National Highway, Six Injured

A traffic accident occurred on Monday on the Pattoki National Highway due to dense fog, resulting in injuries to six individuals, including a woman. The incident occurred when a crane made a U-turn, leading to a collision between a truck, a passenger car, and a van traveling from Basirpur to Lahore.

Upon the accident, the rescue team provided immediate medical assistance to two individuals at the scene, while four others were transferred to THQ Pattoki for further treatment. The injured parties are identified as Abdul Ghafoor (25), Bilal (18), Safdar (46), Mudassar (34), Muzammil (42), and Samina Bibi (52).

This accident serves as a stark reminder of the hazards of driving in foggy conditions, prompting authorities to urge drivers to exercise caution. The Motorway Police have issued safety advisories, recommending the use of fog lights, maintaining a slow speed, and ensuring a safe distance from other vehicles.
