Melania Trump to Offer Sneak Peek of New Film at White House Viewing

First Lady Melania Trump is set to host a private screening at the White House this Saturday for a new film that chronicles her life in the 20 days leading up to President Donald Trump’s second inauguration, according to an adviser.

The film, titled "Melania," is scheduled for a worldwide release on January 30. This weekend's screening will mark the first viewing of the complete film by the president, Melania Trump's family, and her close circle of friends, stated Marc Beckman, the first lady's outside adviser and agent.

Offering a rare glimpse behind the scenes, the movie showcases Melania Trump, who has maintained a relatively low public profile during her husband's second term in office.

The trailer of the film begins on Inauguration Day in January 2025, featuring Melania Trump wearing a navy wide-brimmed hat at the U.S. Capitol ceremony. It also portrays her role as a presidential adviser, including a scene where she encourages the president to emphasize being a "peacemaker and unifier" in his inaugural address.

Beckman, the film's producer, facilitated a $40 million deal with Amazon's MGM Studios for the movie, as well as a subsequent documentary series slated for release later this year focusing on various initiatives important to Melania Trump, such as children in foster care.

In an interview, Beckman emphasized that the film is apolitical and underscored that Melania Trump was instrumental in shaping its creative direction.

The movie highlights Melania Trump's fashion choices, diplomatic engagements, and the logistics surrounding her Secret Service protection. Beckman noted that viewers will also get a glimpse of the president's sense of humor.

Prior to the film's public theatrical release next week, the president and first lady are expected to attend a premiere on Thursday at the Trump-Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, formerly known as the John F. Kennedy Center, under the Trump-appointed board of directors.

Additionally, the first lady is slated to ring the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange on Wednesday to promote the film, Beckman added.
