In a separate development, the World Health Organization (WHO) reported the death of a health worker in southern Lebanon due to Israeli military operations. The WHO Director-General expressed concern over the escalating attacks on health workers and facilities, urging an immediate halt to such violence.
The WHO confirmed that 51 Lebanese health workers, including nine paramedics, have been killed since March 2nd. The organization called for an end to attacks on health facilities, emphasizing the need to protect medical personnel during conflicts.
